7.18.26 ALAMERE FALLS: EARLY BIRD EDITION

Sometimes the best adventures start a little earlier than planned. When changing tide conditions threatened access to the beach below Alamere Falls, we adjusted our schedule and hit the trail before sunrise. The early wake-up call paid off.

Our group made it to the coast while the tide was still low, giving us the rare opportunity to experience one of California's only waterfalls that flows directly onto the beach. We spent the morning exploring the shoreline, sharing breakfast and conversation, and simply enjoying a place that reminds you to slow down. This wasn't about hiking as fast as possible. It was about making the most of the experience.

From the cool morning air to the final miles back to the trailhead, everyone showed up with a positive attitude, looked out for one another, and helped Leave No Trace so others can enjoy this incredible place too.mSometimes the best memories come from making the right adjustment. And this early bird adventure was one we'll be talking about for a long time.
