Halloween Costume Hike – Auburn, CA 🎃👻
Our first-ever Halloween Costume Hike was one for the books — and the best part? More than 40 hikers joined us, with over half experiencing a Hike & Hit event for the very first time. 💚
We celebrated the day (and the season) in true Hike & Hit fashion — outside, together, and full of good energy. From healthy trick-or-treat goodies and Auburn Alehouse sips 🍻 to costume photo ops and raffles for four lucky winners 🎟️, the trail was full of smiles and spooky spirit.
In addition to the fun, we paused for a moment of reflection by writing Notes of Hope for our upcoming Foresthill Bridge installation — a reminder that kindness travels just as far as we do. 💌
The afternoon ended on a sweet note as we sang Happy Birthday to our co-founder Romo’s son, Maximo, who turned 2 — because of course, his first birthday celebration had to be outside. 🌤️🍰
Costumes, community, and connection — that’s what this hike was all about.
