About the Event

Join us for a free community fitness seminar that blends movement, education, and connection — led by local professionals in physical therapy, sports performance, and functional movement.

Designed for all ages and fitness levels, this two-hour session will get you moving, thinking, and feeling better from the inside-out. Whether you’re an athlete, parent, or teacher, you’ll leave with tools to support both physical and mental well-being.

What to Expect

Participants will rotate through interactive sessions covering:

  • Breath Work – Techniques to improve focus, endurance, and recovery.

  • Injury Prevention – Smart warm-ups and body mechanics for longevity.

  • Dynamic Movements – Building strength, coordination, and control.

  • Agility Drills & Competitions – Team-based fun and skill development.

Just bring comfortable clothes, athletic shoes, and a water bottle — we’ll handle the rest!

Open to students, families, educators, and community members — no experience required. Whether you’re looking to move more, perform better, or simply reconnect with your body, this seminar offers something for everyone.

💪 Meet the Team

Dr. Ahmed Altashi, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC

Dr. Ahmed Altashi is a licensed physical therapist with advanced training in orthopedics and manual therapy. He earned his doctorate from the University of St. Augustine and completed an orthopedic residency at USC.
He specializes in orthopedic, spine, and vestibular rehab, and supports athletes in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community. Dr. Altashi’s session focuses on functional movement, recovery, and body awareness, equipping participants with tools to move smarter and prevent injury.

Ryan Battle

Now entering his 9th season as cornerbacks coach at American River College (ARC), Ryan brings over a decade of coaching experience and leadership.
A former defensive back at Sacramento State and College of San Mateo, he previously served as Head Coach at Natomas High School and now teaches PE full-time at Inderkum High School.
Ryan leads the agility and competition drills, combining athletic fundamentals with mentorship to build confidence, teamwork, and discipline.

Ashley Battle

Ashley is a certified Functional Movement Therapist with a background in personal training, yoga, and dance. For over five years, she’s helped individuals reconnect with their bodies through movement, blending mobility work, emotional balance, and mindfulness.
Her approach honors the mind-body connection, empowering clients to feel strong, seen, and supported. Ashley’s session centers on breath work and mobility, helping participants tune in and move with purpose.
